Vision of a Tree: While taking a family on a tour of the rare Cider Gum site. There daughter – Mabel exclaimed- What about this tree, isn’t it beautiful. Yes the small need to be celebrated as much as the ancient Cider Gums we had just been exploring. Such is the vision and enthusiasm of a child to remind us to look and appreciate everything. It was less than 40 cm high. In fact the painting is larger than life. Due to its marsh location and size this one was painted from a series of reference photos.
