Planted: Poatina creek was painted during my Artist in Residency at Poatina. Planted recalls the theme of Figure in Landscape No. 2 – Planted by streams of living water. This growing tree has a firm grip on the bank. Even its exposed roots reveal its firm foundation. Painted on location.
