Ford at Wheeny Creek. Wheeny Creek is a popular camping site at the southern end of the Wollemi World Heritage Park, NSW Australia. This painting owes its existence to a plein air painting trip with a dear artist friend of mine. The location was chosen to facilitate their painting preferences. Thus it is not my usual tree front and centre composition. I was standing in the creek as I painted in making the whole experience quite enjoyable. You won’t find me doing this in Tasmanian waters.
